On Wed, the 29.7. Wenzel Storch was from Hildesheim to guest on the spacecraft Alpenblick!
30 interested visitors could see his latest film "The journey to happiness " what shot down with great applause. The film proved to be disturbing, humorous, surreal and critically at the same time. Rarely was processed in a cinematic work of such concentration of outstanding ideas. This is especially evident on the long production period of 10 years, with the painstaking work that was created with all the attention to detail a true urban setting at the Hildesheim port.
Following the film told Wenzel Storch honest and authentic about his film work, the production history and all the problems and obstacles which were connected with this work. Storch takes a unique position because, despite an incredible press echoes and many lovers of his films, is neither the attention of television and cinema on the one hand, nor the art world on the other side to his art work. Is so much to him again and again only minimal production budget, which must be implemented only with great circumstances.
It may be hoped that such a great artistic and creative power is taking a much more important in our society!
The audience was certainly enthusiastic and so is the living memory of an evening in which there was the opportunity to experience a unique filmmaker.
